About Stonegate Oral Surgery

Located at STONEGATE PROFESSIONAL BUILDING, 2005 Lyell Ave #210, Rochester, NY 14606, Stonegate Oral Surgery operates as an oral serving Rochester in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Around Rochester, specialist offices tend to cluster near hospitals and in medical office parks, and wait times for a consultation run from a few days for an endodontist to several weeks for a busy orthodontist. Most consultations across New York are free or low-cost and come with a written treatment plan and price; ask whether the fee is in-network for your plan, what sedation options exist and how many visits the treatment takes. A second opinion is normal for implants, jaw surgery and full-mouth reconstruction, and reputable specialists expect it.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 8:30 am–4 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (585) 254-5360. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, stonegateoralsurgery.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 30 reviews, which is a strong result for an oral in Rochester and suggests consistent service.

Connie was wonderful to me. She was relentless in making sure my insurance company reimbursed me. They were impossible to get ahold of and I never received a check. She spent a lot of time getting them to pay me. Amazing job. Thank you Connie.

Stonegate was the best. Everyone including the receptionist, nurses and Dr were so helpful, friendly and informative. The receptionist went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable when I called with questions. The Dr also took the time to sit down with me and go over the best option for me. I definitely recommend Stonegate.

Dr Cassera did a wonderful job on a difficult extraction. His office staff was very nice. My ear buds died, not to worry they had headphones with all jacks. The Dr himself called me later and I explained something that I thought was normal (it was not). He stayed with me on the phone until I understood his instructions on what I needed to do. Most dentists or surgeons don't take that amout of time. Normally staff would call. I would recommend in a heart beat.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff is here. I made an appointment for wisdom teeth removal after a dentist referral. The woman at the front desk was very nice and took her time helping me set up my patient profile and getting things organized. They were able to fit me in within 2 days thankfully. Dr. Vorrasi and his team were incredibly accomodating and helped to ease my nerves during the entire procedure. He and his team are compassionate and professional the whole way through. I opted for the nitrous gas, which ended up not reacting well with my body (I cannot stress this enough, this was no fault of the medical staff at this facility, this was my own body chemistry not responding well. This was my first experience with oral surgery and nitrous gas, so now I know for the future to make a different decision). Halfway through the procedure, Dr. Vorrasi made a judgement call to finish the extraction he was on and that we would reschedule the remainder of the procedure for another day to not put my body through any more stress. The professionalism and care I experienced from that judgement call speaks volumes to me about their level of expertise. After the procedure,

I had my wisdom teeth taken out in my hometown but I got dry socket when I came back to school for college. I had nowhere to go and many offices turned me away. This office took me in the same day and got my treated, besides my mouth feeling much better, I had such a great experience with both the surgeon and the staff. They are so welcoming and do such a great job at caring for their patients. I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you to the staff at Stonegate you are all so kind and amazing ❀️
